We had a wonderful stay at Frangipani Bungalow. the owners were friendly and accommodating, and the bungalow itself was tucked away from the main street, providing a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. the rooms were spacious, clean, and equipped with air-conditioning. We enjoyed the convenience of having breakfast and coffee available on site, as well as the nearby local restaurant. There were also plenty of amenities nearby, including a mini mart, cafes, restaurants, shops, tour operators. Frangipani Bungalow was the perfect hidden gem off the bustling main street. Cons: Could not be improved in any way. 🙌.

I absolutely adored the cozy atmosphere of Frangipani Bungalow. The traditional Balinese decoration throughout the hotel was simply enchanting, with beautiful handcrafted furniture and vibrant local art. The general areas, such as the lovely garden and serene swimming pool, were easily accessible for us senior folks. It was such a pleasure to stroll through the peaceful surroundings and relax in the comfortable seating areas, perfect for enjoying a cup of tea or reading a book.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be clearer communication from the staff. The young ones working there were helpful and friendly overall, but occasionally there were misunderstandings or miscommunications that caused a bit of confusion.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The location is super, close to Monkey Forest Rd but away from the busyness. The rooms are jaw-droppingly clean and comfortable. The breakfast, served with a huge smile, is simply amazing. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. The AC and the pool were a much-needed relief from the scorching Bali heat. Highly recommended.

The bungalow we stayed in was very clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a beautiful garden view from the balcony. the staff were friendly and helpful, always there to assist with any questions or requests. the location was great, within walking distance to attractions like the sacred forest and the main market area. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast options, especially the banana pancake and omelette.
That the view from the balcony was obstructed by another nearby roof, limiting the scenery. we noticed that the rice fields in the surrounding area were disappearing quickly, which may affect the overall ambiance of the place in the future.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel nestled in a lush garden oasis. The owner of Frangipani Bungalow was incredibly friendly and attentive, even cleaning my room and making my bed during my short 2-night stay. I appreciated the complimentary coffee and tea available each morning. The location was ideal, away from the bustling streets of Ubud yet still close to popular attractions like the Ubud palace and the monkey forest. The owner even made us hot water for tea at night and engaged in friendly chats. The view from my room was breathtaking and I will definitely choose to stay here again.
Can just recommend this hotel.
